Gray Whales (December 15th-April 30th)

Enjoy the magnificent Gray Whale as they migrate past the Monterey coastline during the Winter and Spring. Monterey Bay is the ideal location from which to catch a glimps of these beautiful creatures as they make their 6000 mile trip to Baja California from the Bering Sea.

Humpback, Blue Whales (May 1st - December 15th)

Summer, Fall and krill bring the playful and curious Humpback whales to the Monterey coastline. Along with the friendly Humpbacks, the mysterious and rare Blue whale have sometimes been found in the surround area. Reaching lengths of over 90 feet and weighing almost 200 tons, the Blue Whale would be hard to miss in the beautiful Monterey Bay!
